The idea of this recipe came to my head when I was sick ūüôā I caught a cold ( in summer, yep ), and just though I need to improve my usual bath salt which actually had ended up long time ago.

I also have a big stock of different clays which where waiting their turn to be used.

A lil bit about ingredients.

I use Sea Salt and Baking Soda as basic components, I described their properties here already, but I will repeat:

Sea Salt strengthens immune system, heals bone disorders, it is beneficial for respiratory system. Sea Salt is useful for all the types of skin, making it soft and beautiful. Sea Salt is rich with calcium, which cleans up skin pores. It can be also used as a natural scrub.

Baking soda softens the skin, together with the Sea Salt it gives detox effect.

Pine essential oil has antibacterial, energizing, antiseptic and aromatic properties. It is a powerful antioxidant, which effectively fights inflamations, different infections and even stress.

Blue and Green Kaolin Clays are powerful sources of minerals with excellent ability to absorb and adsorb. They both detoxify and exfoliate skin greatly.

Calendula/Marigold oil as calendula in general is a top oil in my personal list, I love it very much and use it very often for soaps. It is perfect for a sensitive skin, has strong calming and anti-inflamattory effect.
