Good looking, good smelling and very useful homemade soap 🙂
Ingredient Proportions
- Goat Milk Soap Base – 100 g or 3,5oz
- Shea Butter – 1/3 teaspoon
- Pink Pigment – 3 drops
- Sage Essential Oil – 3 drops
- Bergamot Essential Oil – 3 drops
- Pink Kaolin – 2 teaspoons
- Carcade Leaves for decoration
Pink Kaolin Clay – balanced mix of the White Kaolin and Red Kaolin. Good for normal skin type, absorbs toxins and clogged oil from the skin, fights irritations ans dryness.
Shea Butter is naturally rich with A, E, F vitamins . Moreover, it has good UV protection, provides skin with collagen , fatty acids and nutrients.
Sage Essential Oil is a good helper in preventing signs of aging, wrinkles and sagging skin.
Bergamot Essential Oil boasts of strong antibacterial , antiseptic and soothing effects.
The soap making process is just the same as at both previous recipes : we need to melt the Soap Base ( I prefer microwave ), then add Shea Butter, Kaolin, Pigment. At the very end we must add both essential oils + Carcade Leaves ( not obligatory ). Pour the melted soap into molds and let it get hard during next 30-60 minutes depending on the weight of base you’re using.
This pinky soap also helps with exfoliating and cleansing the skin, it also looks very nice.
I can just imagine that the clay would make an effective yet extremely gentle exfoliator. You also have the most delightful molds.

I use the clay with peppermint oil as a great “wake-up” bar. I do love the molds.

Thanks for visiting my blog! It led me here and I love this post! If you would substitute the goat’s milk base with a vegan alternative, would that still work? If so, what would you use?
